Soddy Daisy Wrestling comprises the student-athletes of our community and is supported by parents and community volunteers. The Soddy Daisy Wrestling program was designed for the youth – Kindergarten through High School – due to its foundational belief that wrestling builds character and discipline and teaches individual student-athletes to set and achieve personal goals. Our mission is to provide a safe environment where student-athletes from elementary to high school can learn to endure healthy training, compete at high levels, and evolve into well-rounded, productive citizens by developing their athletic abilities and personal growth through wrestling.
Our vision is to be one of Tennessee's top wrestling programs by evolving beyond being just a training facility for student-athletes. We aim to become a cornerstone of the wrestling community, where student-athletes thrive both on and off the mat. We accomplish this through a structured program centered on values and commitment, fostering healthy training habits, and emphasizing the fundamentals of wrestling, including basic skills, drills, and techniques. We firmly believe that students' participation in youth sports significantly reduces engagement in illegal activities such as drugs, alcohol, and crime while learning respect and friendship with their community, often leading to positive relationships as productive citizens. Soddy Daisy Wrestling is more than just a club program; it's a tight-knit community where wrestling families from the surrounding area unite to support all student-athletes. Here, coaches, athletes, and parents forge strong bonds, forming a cohesive and supportive family unit.
